Details of the day 2/2 2012

Greetings from Alagna

The Italigente way of skiing! Alagna, just 1,5 hours away from Milan is a small Italian town surrounded by some large mountains. The views are spectacular. This year’s snowing has so far been fairly poor, but yet Alagna and the Monterosa Ski Area offers good condition and some remarkable terrain for the good skier. A good place to stay is Montagnadiluce, famous mountain guide Sergio Gabbio’s own lodge. /

Opening Soon – Italigente Kyrkogatan 13

End of next week we have the pleasure to invite you to our first very own store. Located at Kyrkogatan 13 in the heart of Göteborg this will become a keystone of Italigente. Right now we are working hard with repainting, restoring and finishing to create a truly unique store experience. Here is just a gleam of what is going on.

The Italigente Belt Collection

This fall we have teamed up with a great Italian belt manufacturer outside Parma to create a small collection of leather belts. More info will come soon, but here is just a sneak peak.

News..

As you’ve might have noticed this week we re-launched our online store, which will constantly be updated with great Italian footwear. We also have some other elegant accessories waiting to go online.  All made in Italy by true artisans.

But that is not the only exciting news we got. In the mid of November we are opening our first very own store in Göteborg, Sweden. Stay tuned for more information!

Fall in Marche

I just came back from three wonderful days i Marche and Montegranaro, where our shoes are made. Of course most of the time was spent in the shoe studio creating new footwear styles, but fortunatley I had some free time to enjoy the surroundings.

The poor picture quality doesn’t make the amazing colours this season justice.

The old part of Monte San Giusto, which is the neigbour village to Montegranaro.

Antipasti Italiano.

Home made fresh pasta with truffle.

Marche is not the most well-known wine region in Italy, but there are truly some great wines from this area. One of the most common grape is Rosso Piceno. We will get back to the subject of Marche wine soon.
